Mr Valley also has been a teacher at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA and has conducted many seminars in self-improvement at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH , Goddard Hospital , Stoughton , MA and St. Joseph's Hospital, Lowell, MA. For many years Mr. Valley has conducted a very successful practice in Methuen, MA with his associate Tom Vitale, certified hypnotist. Mr. Valley has received many awards including the NGH's Research Award, the President's Award and the Rexford L. North Award. He also been featured on ABC's award-winning television show "20/20".

Tom became certified in Hypnosis by the National Guild of Hypnotists in 1989 and has been working with Jerry Valley at Valley Hypnosis Inc. in Methuen, Massachusetts since then. He has also studied with George Bien, the late Ormond McGill and a number of other well-known hypnotists trough out the country. Tom has been helping clients overcome addictions such as nicotine, alcohol, overeating and drugs. Recently, he has been working with children afflicted with A.D.D. (Attention Deficit Disorder). He has a very good deal of success with clients in the area of improved memory, athletics and stress control.

Mr Valley and Mr. Vitale are Certified Instructors (C.I.) and Certified Hypnotists (C.Hy.) with the Nationsl Guild of Hypnotists, Merrimack, NH.
